Necklace Size
Necklaces have different styles and sizes and can fit each person’s taste. My creations and pieces come with a standard chain of 40cm, 45cm, or 60cm, but, as part of the handmade philosophy, the necklace chain can have any desired size.
Easy techniques can help you define the chain size when choosing your piece:
1) You can use the length of a chain that you already have and like it or;
2) You can simply take a piece of string and put it around your neck in the desired size, defining the ideal length.
It is important to have an accurate measurement of your ring. The millimeters difference can cause a variation that may prevent you from using your piece comfortably. Here are some tips on carefully measuring your ring and its methods.
The best is to measure with finger-sizing gauges (any jewelry store has one, or you can contact me, I will provide one for free). It is important to remember that there are several guides, so you should know which standard to use: European, American, Brazilian, or French/German.
If you cannot use the finger-sizing gauges or the ring is a present to someone, here 3 steps that can help:
1- Get a perfectly round ring that you use comfortably (without being crumpled).
2- Use a ruler or caliper to measure the ring internal diameter accurately. Disregard the hoop thickness.
3- Check in the table below how to translate the measure you found.
